Designed to be used in conjunction with Precision UK's AVSU enclosures, this versatile module allows for the custom configuration of one to six individual gas services per hospital area, ensuring compliance with the stringent HTM 02-01 and BS EN standards. The AVSU module provides a secure and visible point for isolating the medical gas supply for routine maintenance, modifications, or in the event of an emergency. It ensures individual gas separation is maintained in all circumstances. With options for integrated alarms, NIST connectors for testing, and compliance with the highest medical device quality systems, the CPX AVSU Module is engineered for safety, reliability, and simplified operation in critical healthcare environments

"Functionality & Configuration Primary Purpose: Provides local zone isolation of medical gas services within a hospital area. Capacity: Configurable for one to six separate gas services, depending on the area requirements. Isolation Method: Incorporates a 90-degree quarter-turn ball valve for quick and reliable shut-off (valve details are part of the complete AVSU assembly). Emergency & Maintenance Access: Provides a physical breakpoint for maintenance, allowing the insertion of a blanking facility (spade) on either side of the valve for safe secondary isolation. Compliance & Standards Quality System: Manufactured under BS EN 13485 Medical Devices: Quality Management Systems. Regulatory Status: Compliant with HTM 02-01, BS EN 7396, and BS EN 18082 standards, ensuring robust safety and performance within the MGPS. Safety Feature: Designed to ensure individual gas separation is maintained, particularly critical during emergency shutdowns. Key Components & Features (as part of AVSU integration) Connectivity: Includes Upstream and Downstream NIST connectors with 100% serviceable non-return valves fitted on all gas lines. These connectors allow for: Pipeline pressure testing. Gas sampling. Connection of an emergency gas supply. Piping: Supplied with pre-piped copper tube (often to top ceiling level), factory-tested and certified to EN 13348 to aid fast, clean installation. Alarms (Optional Integration): Designed to accommodate the integration of CPX Analogue or Digital Area Alarms for local pressure monitoring (including pressure sensors fitted local to each gas line). Installation: Available in Flush or Surface fitting types. Gas Venting: Includes provision for gas venting to avoid inadvertent gas build-up in cavity wall installations (as per relevant standards)."
